House lockouts
Front doors at the top of the stairs, back doors off the landing, French doors and the sleep-out. Opened without damage in almost every case, including on hardware older than the house next door.
Heritage locks kept working
Original mortice locks and rim locks serviced, rekeyed and returned to use rather than swapped for a modern cylinder that looks wrong on a 1920s door.
Lost keys and rekeying
Cut to the lock on site. If the key disappeared with your address on the fob, we rekey instead so the lost one stops working anywhere.

That is the last thing we want. Heritage mortice and rim locks are picked or bypassed, then serviced. If one genuinely cannot open without damage, you hear that before we start.
Most can. A rim lock or a mortice with a decent cylinder can be rekeyed so the lost key stops working, with the original furniture left exactly as it is.
